Connotations 2008 will be running in Tynemouth, near Newcastle, Friday 3rd October to Sunday 5th October 2008.

The hotel is doing is an all in rate, for a two night minimum stay. So, if you're in a twin or double, the rate is £55.50 per person per night. If you're in a single the rate is £76.00. This is all in, bed and breakfast, lunch and dinner included. The rate is available from Friday to Monday.
You will be responsible for booking your own room, and for notifying the hotel of any special requirements you may have. Please ensure that you let the hotel know at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements you may have. Additionally, please inform us if you have any special dietary requirements, so that we can plan meals with the hotel that will suit as many people as possible.
You will need to contact the hotel directly to book your room, or to make any changes -- we will not be responsible for arranging or rearranging your rooms. Also please note that the hotel only has 5 single rooms, and only 50 rooms in total. They are able to supply a limted number of rooms with an extra bed (i.e. three beds in a room), so if you want a triple please ask for this when you book so they can plan accordingly. In both cases it will be first come, first served. Since you're booking with the hotel direct, we strongly recommend you book as early as possible to avoid having to find alternate accomodation, not least because coming into the hotel as a non resident may incur a charge.

All meals are included in the cost of your hotel room. If you are not staying at the hotel there is a one off day delegate rate of £30.00, payable to the convention on arrival. Vegetarian options are available, please inform the hotel at the time of booking if you have any special dietary needs. They attempted vegan last year with mixed success -- we hope they will be better this year, but please prepared to accomodate their unfamiliarity with veganism!
